The Bozeman Library Friends and Foundation is dedicated to elevating the Library’s impact by raising money to support the Library beyond what public funding can offer. Our goal is to ensure that our Library remains a dynamic, ever-evolving, world-class resource for everyone in our community.
Our funds provide financial support for capital improvements and help the Library increase and enhance its services, programs, and community events.
Our funding comes from you – our community. This includes more than 1,100 individuals, organizations, and foundations that contribute gifts of all sizes. We also raise funds through our used book sales and our in-Library used bookstore, made possible by generous book donations from our community.
We are also supported by dedicated volunteers whose invaluable contributions of time, talent, and wisdom are critical to our success.
We believe that public libraries play a crucial role in preserving the freedom to access reliable and truthful information. We’re also inspired by every library’s capacity to unite our community through a love for learning. By forging community partnerships, building awareness, and leading fundraising efforts, we inspire and strengthen support for the Bozeman Public Library.
Our mission is to provide financial support and advocate for the Library, ensuring it has the resources to create opportunities that inspire curiosity, exploration, and connection.
The Friends and Foundation supports the Bozeman Public Library’s vision of being a vital community cultural center where personal enrichment and civic engagement thrive.
