As students head back to school, the Bozeman Public Library is ready to support learners of all ages. More than just a place to borrow books, the Library is a hub where curiosity thrives, skills are built, and ideas come to life.
Children and teens can explore hands-on programs like Family Kitchen Lab, STEAM workshops, and Tween Art Studio. Storytimes and early literacy programs nurture toddlers’ foundational skills, while teen programs like Teen Kitchen Lab and Teen Corner Exploration spark creativity and social connection for older kids. Adults can also develop new skills and connect with others through workshops in cooking, wellness, and the arts—because learning doesn’t stop at any age.
At the heart of it all is the Children’s Room, one of the Library’s most cherished and well-used spaces. Picture a little one reading aloud to a therapy dog, friends building Lego creations, or a parent and child curled up in a cozy nook sharing a story.
While the Library recently underwent a major renovation, the Children’s Room was not included. As Bozeman grows, this beloved space needs to grow with it. The vision: a bright, flexible, and inspiring space where children can explore, imagine, and dream—designed to nurture potential and bring families closer together.
You can help bring this vision to life. This year’s Library Gala, themed “Be a Hero for Your Library,”, is a chance to support the Children’s Room renovation while enjoying an evening of community, cocktails, a gourmet dinner, and live entertainment. Funds raised will directly help create a space where children can explore, play, and fall in love with learning.
Purchase your Gala ticket today and join us in creating a Children’s Room where every child feels inspired, welcomed, and ready to dream big. Can’t join us but still want to support this project? You can donate here and 100% of your gift will go towards the Children’s Room renovation.
