Since 1983, the Bozeman Library Friends and Foundation has been advocating and fundraising for the Bozeman Public Library. The Foundation has spearheaded large capital projects such as the campaign to build the Library in the early 2000’s, the purchase of the bookmobile, and the 2022 Library interior renovation. The BLFF also funds programming, digital resources, and equipment purchases on an annual basis.
Summer Learning programs gets kids and their families to the Bozeman Public Library to enjoy fun-filled and enriching programs throughout the summer school break. Library summer learning programs are critical to childhood literacy and academic success across all subjects. They’re proven to reduce “summer slide,” the loss of reading and academic skills during the summer
months that can cause children to fall behind in school and damage later career potential. The Library hosts more than 150 children’s programs and reaches well over 7,000 children each year.
The Bozeman Public Library is committed to fostering a healthier community through free health and wellness programs open to all. From yoga and mindfulness sessions to nutrition workshops and wellness seminars, these accessible offerings empower individuals and families to lead healthier lives—without barriers.
