Four times a year, we host a community Used Book Sale, offering a wide selection of gently used books at affordable prices. These books sold are generously donated by the public and carefully sorted by our volunteers, who spend countless hours organizing donations. Thanks to their efforts and the support of our community, our book sales raise an average of $70,000 annually to benefit the Library.
Want to get first access to our great used books? Make a $25 or greater gift to the Bozeman Library Friends and Foundation and get early access to shop our Used Book Sale. That means, you’ll be invited to browse and buy two hours before the sale opens to the rest of the public.
Have you read all of the books on your shelf and need to refresh your collection? Share your favorite reads with your community and donate your gently used books to support our used books sale program.

Take your books to the maroon donation doors at the southwest corner of the Library (nearest the parking lot). Ring the bell to let our volunteers know you’ve arrived

Please note that donation intake will be closed the week of a book sale.

Find our Used Books Store under the east stairway on the Library’s main floor. The Store is open daily during Library hours.
Mugs, hats, tees, sweatshirts, and even onesies for your smallest bookworm, our merch is a fun way to show your love for the Bozeman Public Library wherever you go. Every purchase helps support the programs and resources that make our Library such a special place for the whole community.
